Terms of Service
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CatchTheMail ("we", "us", or "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of the agreement between us; we encourage you to read it alongside these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization as well. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not create an account or use the Service.
2. Description of the service
CatchTheMail provides AI-powered email triage. You forward selected emails, either one by one or through a forwarding rule you set up in your own mailbox, to a private forwarding address we generate for you. Our systems analyze each forwarded email to assess its priority, categorize it, and produce a summary and a suggested reply. The results are returned to you by email and stored in your dashboard, where you can search, filter, and revisit them.
Three boundaries define how the Service works, and we consider them commitments rather than technical details. First, the Service analyzes only the emails you explicitly forward; it does not connect to, monitor, or read your mailbox. Second, the Service never takes action on your behalf without your explicit instruction: suggested replies are sent only when you choose to send them, and nothing is ever transmitted to a third party automatically. Third, to protect your monthly allowance, obviously automated bulk mail (such as newsletters and notification emails) may be recorded without full AI analysis; these messages do not count against your quota.
3. Your account and responsibilities
To use the Service you must create an account with accurate, complete information (name, email address, and phone number) and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at hello@catchthemail.com so we can help you secure it.
Your private forwarding address works like a key: anyone who knows it can send emails into your account. Treat it as confidential and do not publish it. If you believe it has been exposed, contact us and we will help you secure your account. You are also responsible for ensuring that you have the right to forward the emails you send to the Service, as described in Section 6.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
We want billing to be free of surprises, so here is exactly how it works:
- Free trial. Every account starts with a 7-day free trial that includes 50 email analyses. No payment details are required to start the trial; there is nothing to cancel and no charge that can surprise you. If the trial ends without a subscription, your account switches to a read-only mode: your past analyses remain visible and nothing is deleted, while new analyses and replies pause until you choose a plan.
- Paid plans. After the trial, continued use requires an active subscription: Starter at $16.99, Pro at $27.99, or Team at $46.99 per month, billed in advance through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record and payment processor. The entire checkout, including your card details, is handled on Lemon Squeezy's systems. Annual billing is also available at the price of ten monthly payments for twelve months of use.
- Quotas. Each plan includes a monthly email analysis quota: 300 analyses on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, and 4,000 on Team. The quota is counted fairly: bulk mail filtered before analysis does not consume it, and neither does an analysis that fails on our side. When the quota is reached, further analyses pause until the next billing cycle or an upgrade; we notify you when that happens.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your account, without contacting support and without a retention process. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
- Account deletion. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription, so you are never charged again. Unlike the cancellation described above, deletion takes effect immediately: the account and its data are removed at that moment, access ends with them, and the remainder of the paid period is not separately refunded (see Section 5). In the rare case that our payment provider cannot be reached at that moment, we do not delete the account; we show you how to cancel from the billing section first, and you can then delete the account yourself.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing cycle, never retroactively. If you do not agree with a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Refunds
Except where required by applicable consumer protection law, payments already made are non-refundable. That said, we do not hide behind this sentence: if you believe a charge was made in error, or if the law of your country grants you a right of withdrawal, contact us at hello@catchthemail.com and we will review your request in good faith and honor every statutory right you have. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method.
6. Acceptable use
The Service is built for legitimate email triage. You agree not to:
- Forward emails that you do not have the right to access or share;
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission;
- Circumvent plan quotas or other technical limitations.
If an account violates these rules, we may suspend or terminate it. Where practical and lawful, we will contact you first and give you a chance to correct the issue; in cases of serious, unlawful, or ongoing abuse we may act immediately to protect the Service and its users.
7. AI-generated output
Summaries, priority scores, categories, and suggested replies are produced automatically by AI. We work continuously on their quality, but AI output is probabilistic by nature: it may occasionally be incomplete, incorrect, or assign a priority you would judge differently. For that reason, everything the Service produces is designed to be a helpful starting point, not professional, legal, or financial advice.
You are responsible for reviewing every summary and suggested reply before relying on it or sending it. This is precisely why the Service gives you full editing control and never sends anything on its own: the final word is always yours.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and responsive at all times, and we monitor it accordingly. However, we do not promise uninterrupted operation and offer no formal service level agreement (SLA). Maintenance, updates, or failures of the third-party providers we depend on may occasionally cause delays or downtime. Where planned maintenance is likely to be noticeable, we will aim to give advance notice, and after any significant disruption we will work to restore normal operation as quickly as possible.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the content we create, is owned by CatchTheMail and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose for as long as these Terms remain in effect.
Your content remains yours. You retain all rights to the emails you forward and to the replies you send. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process forwarded content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you; that permission ends when the content is deleted. AI-generated suggestions become yours to use once delivered to you.
10. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the Service's output, as described in Section 7. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CatchTheMail harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you forward without the right to do so. This obligation survives the termination of your account.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account yourself from the settings page; no notice period and no approval from us are required. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will give reasonable advance notice where possible so you can retrieve what you need.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 9, 10, and 11, remain in effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will first be addressed in good faith between the parties; most issues can be resolved with a simple email, and we genuinely prefer that route. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the competent courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye will have jurisdiction. If you use the Service as a consumer, any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract remain unaffected by this section.
14. Changes to these terms and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law requires it. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Service before they take effect, so you always have the chance to review them first. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the Service and delete your account before it takes effect.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. For any questions about these Terms, reach us at hello@catchthemail.com; we read every message and aim to reply promptly.
