Who is paying whom
A contractor's inbox is full of polite, professional letters from firms that want to work with you. Most of them want to be paid by you. The construction lens reads direction first: a client asking you to build is a new customer, a firm offering to build for you is promotion.
It also knows the warnings that move a project: building regulations and permits, price escalation and index decisions, material shortages, site safety notices, and changes to social security and workforce rules.
Tender portals and public senders
Tender alerts often come from automated portals and public bodies, and a bulk filter would set them aside. With a sector selected, messages from institutional domains such as .gov are analysed instead, and you can add a commercial tender service to your followed senders so its alerts get read too.
How it fits into your day
You pick your sector once, when you sign up. After that there is nothing new to learn: you forward email to your private CatchTheMail address, by hand or with a one-line Gmail filter, and each message comes back with a category, a priority, a short reason and a drafted reply.
CatchTheMail never connects to your mailbox. It asks for no Gmail or Outlook permission and only ever sees the messages you forward. Nothing is sent on your behalf, and your email is not used to train AI models.
When it is the wrong tool
- You want your inbox sorted without forwarding anything. CatchTheMail only sees what you send it.
- You need a tender search service. CatchTheMail analyses the notices you receive; it does not go looking for new ones.
